Full Rebuilds and Partial Refurbishing

Mold rebuild programs are designed to fully restore older molds to "like new" conditions. Molds are fully disassembled, all components are inspected for wear and damage, then replaced as required. Cooling channels are cleaned to remove cycle-limiting contamination.

Partial refurbishing programs are also available. Depending on customer requirements, Husky can tailor refurbishment programs to target specific problem areas.

Mold Conversions and Lightweighting

Converting an older mold to a new preform design is a cost-effective alternative to a new tooling purchase. Where possible, preform weight reductions are engineered to reduce cost.
